Tutorial:

Dividing a fraction has 2 method.

1) Using Reciprocal

Steps:

Turn the one fraction on its reciprocal then multiply.

Example:

3/4÷4/5

=3/4×5/4

=15/16

2) Using Cross-Multiply

Example:

3/4÷4/5

=3×5 (the numerator of 3/4 and the denominator of 4/5) over 4×4 (the denominator of 3/4 and the numerator of the 4/5)

=15/16
